I realize that it's been a few months since most of you have heard anything about the project. Well, I'll be completely honest, not much has gone on with the project since the last update in October, and even that update was outdated at the time is was made public. However, on the bright side, I have decided to put some more time into the project. Currently, it runs a good amount of commercial titles, however there is still major compatability issues. Additionally, it is slow, and worst of all, we still lack a video plugin. (All current shots are made with Dolphin video).

So, as you may have guessed, I am now working on the new Gekko video plugin. At one point we did have one, from thakis, however due to his leaving the team I decided to take a different route and start fresh. As for the other developers, Aprentice and Lightning, I cannot bring a lot of news in their regard: However I do know that both are still highly interested in the project, but do not have a lot of free time.

Anyways, stay tuned for some video plugin updates :-)

MFG
ShizZy

NDS Emu.. the beginning.

Hey-
Been totally bogged down with school and work and everything else, havn't had too much time to code emulators. (What else is new?) But, nonetheless, about a week ago I was able to start my NDS Emulator "Demus". So far, I have a very basic MMU setup, an emulator and debugger framework, an implemented disassembler, and the beginning of the ARM9 cpu core. Yeah, not much, and it's going to be a while before it runs anything, especially at the rate I'm going.

I guess we'll see where it goes. My inspiration is always constantly flipping back and forth from this and Gekko, so it's hard to keep them both moving at a fast pace.

MFG
ShizZy

ShizZy's Emu Dev Blog

Hey-
Just created this blog as a spot to post info on my emulation projects, updates, etc. Such include Gekko (A GameCube Emulator), various PSP homebrews, GB/GBC/GBA work, and potentially an NDS emu some day.
